Jemmy Fischer Donation

The collection of the MNHA's Fine Art department was recently enriched through the donation of two important paintings. The museum would like to thank the Fischer family for the generous gift of a representation of the Statue John of Nepomuk in Luxembourg (Bommenzinnes) by Joseph Kutter (1894-1941) and a Portrait of Élisabeth Kehler (the artist's wife) by Reginald Bottomley (1856-1933).

The MNHA currently holds more than 80 works by Joseph Kutter in its collection. They provide a comprehensive overview of the artist's career.
